Our Goal is to create awareness amongst local community members to the fact that we must stand up for the the promotion of the tourism industry.
At PIRCLiberia we offer quick acess to the Internet and we create a user Friendly environment where visitors can have first hand informations on how to move around Liberia.
We believe that if the message of the importance of Toursim is taken to the local community members, this will help in cleaning the environment and will help in cretaing a healthier society.

We have set up an internet cafe in paynesville Monrovia,Liberia beginning with 2 computers and have extended to six computers now. we provide, teachers, students, and Local community members the opportunity to use the internet in their work. We try to establish a computer literate community that can effectively use the tools availble in their research. we hope to get on board partners that are interested in our work. We are running a RESOURSE CENTER, where we EXCHANGE and INTERACT with different groups in our locality. Our interest in this area, comes from the fact that Liberians should be able to use this media for promoting PEACE, DEMOCRACY and GOOD GOVERNANCE, components that are essencial to the long term development of this war ravaged country. Liberians are eager to LEARN new IDEAS and WAYS on carring out their day to day activities. Once information is not getting to the people on time for them to take good decisions, we will still have problems.The UN is taking care of security in Liberia with 15,000 troops and international police, but putting in place a strong PUBLIC INFORMATION mechanism to inform people on SECURITY issues, will help in preparing Liberians for the post UN era.

Liberia is a country situated on the west coast of Africa and was involved in a deadly 14 year civil war. It is now over and the task is rebuilding the damaged infraestructure. we live in a world that has been connected through INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY and over the past war years no attention was given to this fact. We are interested in opening spaces for people to dialogue amongst themselves and and come up to more effective DEVELOPMENTAL ideas. We have an INTERNET CAFE, where we offer internet service for a low price to our local community members and we are looking forward to working with groups that share our interest.
Bringing our Local commuinty members closer to the world via ICT will be a great contribuition to the ungiong peace process taking place here in Liberia.There are lot of students leaving UL (University Of Liberia) that do not have knowledge on the use of the ICT, this needs to be seriously considered...
